• Setup of a Resource.cfg in the Sims 3 root folder that allows up to 4 levels of arbitrary subfoldering.
• Automatically creates the Mods\Packages folder under Sims 3 root.
• Automatically copies in the d3dx9_31.dll file needed for AwesomeMod.
• Adds 5 right click menus to .package files that automatically copy the clicked-on file to the various Sims 3 install folders.
• Adds a double-click action to .package files that automatically copies the file to the Sims 3 Root Mods\Packages folder.
• Supports installing multiple .package files at a time - just highlight the ones you want, right click, install!

Install Instructions

Step 1: Sims 3 must not be running. Shut down your game.

Step 2: Download and extract the rar file. Do NOT extract it to your game folder, your sims 3 folder, your my docs Sims 3 or to any location involving the game whatsoever. Extract it to your desktop.

Step 3: Run the TS3InstallHelper.exe program by double-clicking on it.

Step 4: Follow the wizard.

Once the program is installed, to actually use it, you just have to find a Sims 3 .package file (like one of the ones you download from here), right click, and you should see the following:
